Purchased three with rebate deal. Using one in Dell Mini 9 for extra storage. Fast. Reliable. Couldn't get the others to work with Canon camera...probably a camera issue and not the card. Final note...I would recommend for netbook use. Crossing my fingers on the rebate.

Love Sandisk cards, always reliable, and easy to use. I've only had a problem transferring one card at a CVS, but it could be their reader. The 16gb will hold over 1000 pics in a durable pkg.

I know that this should be used for my camera, and I will use it for that. In addition, I am using them to back up data from my work computer and storing the information at home. The memory cards works GREAT and I can save a lot of data in a very small amount of space. They fit in my pocket and I can carry a number of them with me. The tranfer rate is fast. I am VERY happy with my purchase.

Most dslr cameras have a buffer for burst images. Unless you are a pro sports photographer you probably aren't going to run out the buffer. With the camera buffer, the Ultra II cards are plenty fast for most situations, why pay extra for the faster cards when you'll never use the extra speed. With the [$] rebate this was an outstanding purchase!

I use my camera for special occasions. From the lavish weddings, the relaxing vacations, to the happy birthdays. I take a great amount of pictures and the 16gb size of my memory card is perfect for storing all my pictures. I used to have a 256 gb, which can barely hold a 100 pictures. I would always have to delete my old pics to store new ones which was a big headache. The massive 16gb size would allow me to store thousands of pictures and many videos and the great thing is I can keep my old pics without deleting it. The transfer to my pc is extremely fast. So far, there are no cons for this wonderful product. I would highly recommend this item to anyone.

I use this with my Canon SD870is. I don't need to worry about filling up the card because of the large storage capacity. The only thing I'm afraid of is losing everything if the card fails (hasn't shown signs of failing yet) or if I lose the card.
Also good to transfer files to and from the computer.

Came quickly, as described, and I just filled 3 cards with 1 week of vacation. Only think I noticed, and this may be more a Canon camcorder issue, is that when powering on, there is more of a lag than with tape, and when I'm trying to record, it sometimes gives me a 'reading card' message, and takes a few extra seconds before being ready to tape. This has caused me to miss a few 'special memories', but the pros of using SD cards far outweigh the cons, and the Sandisk ones are reliable, and otherwise fast. Now I just have to wait for the $90 rebate!

I purchase this for my Canon sx1 IS for videos. I amazed by its speed when I applied it in my Canon A590. I was using 4GB SDHC card before and with 16GB Ultra II SDHC card getting higher speed.

The card turns out to carry a Class 4 rating (minimum write speed 9 Mb/sec), a fact not noted in the product specs. While my Canon HF11 recommends a class 6 card, the use of a Class 4 card is acceptable, and I have found no problems at all recording short and long videos with the camcorder. No problems transferring/copying the AVCHD files from the card to the computer for editing in Final Cut Pro.

This card has enough storage space that you won't need to worry about running out of space and managing multiple cards due to a lack of space. For a casual user like me this is way sufficient for my photos and videos. For my Canon S5, this one card can take over 2 hours of video. Luckily I have 3 of these cards.

This card is great. I recently shot a wedding and wish that I had one of these babies to use. It will hold over 1200 RAW images on one card, each image size is around 10mb, so yeah I'd recomend this card to anyone, tons of storage. Unless you don't take a lot of photos and have a point and shoot camera, then a 2-4 GB card would be right up your alley.
