This 2 Gig Chip works with my Older Computer/Software and Canon Camera as well as my new Digital Canon camera,unlike the SDHC 2 & 4 Gig memory cards.

I bought two of these cards for my Nikon D50 and Nikon S550. Although I do notice an improved transfer rate and recovery time between photos, the improvement was not as great as expected. These are acceptable for my use.
I would recommend an even faster card if you need rapid-fire shots.
