The AM-90 Air Purifier is a high performance air purifier/ionizer for large areas. The extended surface washable HEPA type filter removes 99% of airborne pollutants. It comes with a washable dust pre-filter. The noise level is less than 50 dB. Some of the features include backlit LCD, timer function and filter good for up to 8 washes.

I like my new air purifier but I haven't had it long enough to say how it traps dust but it is fairly quiet. I run it on medium and it just has a hum like a fan blowing...not a problem and it sits close to the tv. I like that you can wash the filter up to 8 times before replacing and it has a sticker on it to help you keep up. I also like that you can program it to run 8 hrs or less and then it turns off and it has a clock. I keep it going constantly now but may time it in the future. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. Satisfied!

I've only had this purifier for a short time and so far it's doing a great job. My husband and I both wake up much less congested now. We also have pets and it seems to filter out much of the pet smell. The fan is fairly quiet, at maximum it's just enough background noise for sleeping.

Creates a pleasant white noise that is nice for sleeping. Excellent airflow that seems to make an immediate difference. Adjustable settings are easy and useful. I like the ability to use the air filter w/o the ionizer.

Merchant was efficient - everything was as expected.

This is my 2nd AMCOR-90 unit - very pleased with them.

I use them in 2 bedrooms, 1 in which our family dogs sleep in - helps to maintain odor, dust and particulates.

This is a very good air purifier that can be had at a reasonable price. I own two Mitsubishi Plasmapures. I'd say nothing beats those, because the filter last about 4-5 years and include carbon. I used to smoke and within 15 minutes of finishing a cigarette, you couldn't tell it. This Amcor handles twice the space and the air is noticeably cleaner in the large room that I have it in. No more sneezing. However, I doubt that it could handle heavy smoking. I think carbon filters work best for that, but for those of us who don't smoke the Amcor works wonderfully.

I bought this air purifier for my very dusty basement. My house was built in the 1830s and the foundation has started to crumble a little, leading to dust in the basement. I wanted the air to be safe to workout in. It is very affordable at the price and it works great in large rooms. The air quality became markedly better, and because the filter just needs to be washed to be reused, you do not have to buy new filters. Great product!

I am using this air purifier to help try to control a severe dust problem in the house. Within a week, my filter was pretty dirty, so I know it's working. The options are really nice to have and are user friendly. If I'm going to be in the room where it's running, I can put it on the low speed so it's nice and quiet. But, if I want to put it in another room and have it work at it's maximum ability, I can put it on the high setting. I generally do not use the ionizer because this is often near electronic products in enclosed areas where I would be concerned about static and ozone. However, sometimes I will use the ionizer with the timer in an open area when I know I will generate alot of dust (like when cleaning out the fireplace). So, I like having the options even if I don't use them regularily.

[...] I just received the unit and am very pleased with the sleek, slimmer look. It runs MUCH quieter than the Hunter I had previously (even with the fan on it's highest speed). I am using it in a family room area and plan to purchase another for the living room area.The idea of not having to buy filters for 3 years was a top selling point for me. It seemed I would buy a unit and when I went to buy replacement filters, they were almost as much as a new unit, that is if I could even find them anymore.I cannot yet comment on the lifetime of the product, since I just got it, but at this point, I am VERY pleased at my decision to go with the AM-90 by AMCOR!
