Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

I cannot believe the quality of units. People cannot tell that i am going down the highway doing 60 mph! My boss call me on a sick day when I was out for a ride and he had no clue I was riding! This works better than any other bluetooth I own.
The only drawback is that you need to shout when using the voice activation mode. So I use the always on function and have never had the batteries go dead on any rides.
I highly recommend this product!

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

I have had 4 of these units sent to me trying to get one that works.[...]. The one thing the Scala-Rider teamset has done is make me appreciate my 5 year old Chatterbox unit that is held together with J.B. Weld. It's just a shame how much it cost me to find out how good the Chatterbox is. Scala-Rider, brought to you by the same people who perpetrated the lie that cell phones can pop popcorn, and called it advertising. I am told by [...]Scala that everyone loves these units. I can only presume they have never heard a cheap pair of toy walkie talkies or they would not be impressed with the Scala-Rider.

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

The product works as advertised. It has some minor draw backs if you milk it as I do. I have the GPS, iPhone, and Passanger unit connected all at once. Sometimes it becomes a bit confused. But a few clicks here and there and you are ready to go. The reception is clear enough. The GPS signal is extremely clear. The helmet to helmet reception is not that good but if you play with the microphone placement, you'll get great results.

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

I use this headset with my Blackberry and Garmin Zumo 550 GPS. When on the phone at 55 no one can tell I'm even on my motorcycle, infact they comment on how clear it is. Used with Zumos MP3 player (needs more bass)You can have MP3 on both headsets, and talk as well. Can add rider to phone conversation. I've been researching and tried a lot of differnt equipment, this is the last thing I'll need to buy. 10 out of 10. (except for lack of base 9.5)Easy to install on helmets.

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

The sound quality is great, even at top speed I can hear the phone and my wife clearly. The microphone is a little cramped in the full helmet that I wear, but is durable and easy to adjust. The switches are a little difficult to use, it is hard to tell if you have connected until you start talking.

Over all though it is wonderful not have all the wires dangling all over just to talk to the wife on a long trip.

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

I am disappointed with the Intercom feature, THe rider to rider communication is not nearly as good as the Phone Headset function. The VOX is not consistent, especially after an hour of riding. You should be able to answer calls by speaking into the Mic. I never touch my phone while riding, so VOX is critical. I cannot always get the phone to answer by voice. Intercom communication above 40 mph is strained. Some times frustrating- since my rider cannot distinguish what I am saying.
On the other and the Phone funtion is outstanding. I can be on the road at 55mph and no one can tell I am on my bike. ( I do have a full face Visor - that helps)

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

We enjoy using this intercom system.
The only draw back so far is that the mic can be blown away from on front of ones mouth in a heavy wind. A stronger arm on the mic would correct this.

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

Very good product at a great price. No problems so far. I use the headset for driver-rider communication, talking on my cellphone (others can't believe that I'm riding a motorcycle given the noise-cancellation and overall clarity of the communication) and listening to books on tape, transmitted from my GPS on the bike. Very versitile product. Absolutely no complaints!!!

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

I use this product every time I ride. My son and I ride together a lot and it has enabled us to have a constant clear communication. When I'm by myself, I use the Blue tooth phone feature to call anyone I want. Amazingly, the people I talk to while riding don't even know I'm on the motorcycle. There is virtually NO noise. The headset speaker quality is very clear. I can speak in a normal voice while riding and hear everything the caller is saying. I have even participated in work related conference calls on my way to work and no one knew I was on my motorcycle. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who rides.

Comments about Cardo Systems Scala-Rider Teamset Wireless Motorcycle Helmet Headsets w/ 2-Way Communication & Bluetooth:

I ride a sport tourer, with minimal wind protection. When going over 50 mpg, I can not hear the passenger. The passenger can hear me, since they do not have as much wind on them.
