Comments about PARROT PMK5800 Bluetooth Plug & Play Car Kit:

I got the Parrot PMK5800 for my car because their other parrot models would not work in my car. I was really impressed with features and other reviews of parrot Bluetooth HFK's so I was pretty sure I was getting a quality product. It was pretty easy to setup, not exactly like the instructions, but close enough for government work as they say. Sound is very clear through FM station on my stereo and no complaints about audio at the other end so the mic appears to work well also. I think the descriptions are little misleading, indicating your stereo FM channel automatically tunes when the phone rings, I have to select the stereo pre-select button every time time. I didn't really think it was possible anyhow. I also was not able to sync any phone number from my cell phone book to the PMK5800, although I have successfully sync'd with other BT devices. I have to use the phone to initiate and end calls and I don't get to use any voice commands. So i didn't really get everything I paid for. But once you make a call, hands free communications works very well.
