Currently I am out of work on medical leave and need to have surgery. I do have limitations on which games I can play because of this but the Wii allows me to kill some time since I am getting extremely bored waiting for surgery and I am sure it will be the same after surgery.

The other reason I purchased it is I am a big Zelda fan and it was time for me to play catch up with the series. Zelda - The Twilight Princess is great and I recommend it to Zelda fans (duh, I am sure they already have it!) and to other gamers out there. It truly is a great game.

One thing I do not like about the Wii is the Wii Remote Controller eats up batteries. If you have a charger that is good but if you are also using the rubber grip that goes around the controller it can be a pain to replace the batteries. Because of this I recommend the Energizer wireless charger. You simply place the Wii Remote/Controller on the flat magnetic bed (this is about the size of a small note pad and will fit two Wii Remote/Controllers at a time)

The other thing that I do not care for, and it may be something I am doing wrong, is when changing controllers the sync doesn't always sync the controllers up. I try to make sure the controllers are placed on the Energizer Wireless Charger after game play. Additionally, what is nice about the charger is it is smart enough to know when to stop charging so you can ruin the batteries that way.

The Wii Remote will turn itself off after a few mins to save on the battery.

I also like the fact that I can browse the web using the Opera browser. I haven't really used it that much as I have a desktop computer, laptop and a smart phone that runs Windows Mobile 6.1 but it is nice to know I can do that if needed.

For those of you out there that miss playing the original Super Mario Bros, or many other NES, SNES and even some Sega Games, you can play them using the virtual console on the Wii. There are other virtual consoles, even a Commodore 64 one!

The game was easy to setup, Internet access throug the wireless connection was great. No need to run additional wires. Downloaded system updates and weather, news, etc.

This system is so fun to play, especially with the whole fact that you can have virtually unlimited memory with SD cards. The Virtual Console games are excellent, just like the originals, and it's always great to play those for nostalgic factors/just plain fun.
