Just hooked it up last night, and was very pleased so far. If it continues to perform like it has, I will be very pleased with this model.

This is the third Panasonic Projector I've owned (that should say something all by itself). This one is an upgrade from my 900U to take advantage of the full 1080p resolution for my home theater.The display is stunning with BLACK background and no graining. I especially like the ability to change the focus, zoom, vertical position, horizontal position, keystone, etc. right from my chair. I project onto a 100" diagonal screen and view it from 13'. The picture is absolutely clean.This model provides several aspect ratios: Zoom, horizontal fit, vertical fit, fit to screen, reduces size 16:9 (my wife likes the small 16:9).The colors are vivid and the unit provides exceptional features for assuring that I'm getting the very best picture.The 900U was very good: the 3000U is Outstanding.[...]All I had to do was take the 900U down from it's universal ceiling mount, attach the 3000U, plug in, adjust the zoom and focus from my chair and play.The only negative thing I can think of is the lamp life: only 1800 hours (compared to my 900U's 3000 hours). The quality of the picture more than compensates for this IMHO.
