Bought the H2 to record myself at home when musical flashes present themselves and it works great! Simply set the mic pattern you desire and press record and you are on your way. Has some great functions like Normalize and also allows for recording in several different formats. When done, simply remove the SD card and upload to your favorite DAW program to edit and master the final project.

Screen & font too hard to read in dim light...which is true in many rehearsal places. However, easy to record once set up with a push of a single botton to start and stop and start with each being a separate mp3 file (if recoring in mp3). So so battery life so rechargeables a must...

I use product for practice sessions. The sound quality is good. The first time I tried to connect to PC, product was not accepted. Showed the USB Icon, then disappeared. Tried again and it worked fine. The display is very hard to see, especially with glare.

The H2 is a very good high quality recorder, its pretty user friendly, the cool feature is you can activate both sides of the mic for single to stereo applications. The only thing we couldnt figure out is the second track, its called H2 2 track recorder, we couldnt recorder another track after the first pass. If you're wanting to get high quality recording being a song writer or live applications its perfect.

I use it to record classical music on the accordion and the sound is superior to anything I have used before.
