My firend had the older model of these which seem a little less durable than this new model. Good job Bowflex. I use them daily and they do everything I need them to do.

These dumbbells are surprisingly sturdy and well built. It's extremely simple to adjust the weight, and I never feel as if the weights aren't securely attached to the handle. When you realize that these two dumbbells replace tons of free-weights, it makes the purchase all that more satisfying. The only remotely negative thing I could say is that the dumbbells are actually quite large when compared to standard dumbbells, but it's very easy to adapt to their size, and they never inhibit any workouts. I'm really happy I purchased these, and may never need to go to a gym again!
