Easy to use, no cable changes, yes, you have to change handle grips and vary weight resistance bars but all exercises are easy if not "brain dead". It is very quiet to use and will not disturb anyone in near proximity since nothing bangs or clangs. I often watch tv while excercising and the time working out passes quickly.
