Installed this unit in my sister car who is a home health care nurse visting 7-8 different location a day. It has worked out great and save 1-1.5 hours a day in travel and planning time.

I use the Nuvi for business and leisure. It has many POI's i.e. snorkeling beaches in Hawaii.
The main problem with the Nuvi 750 is that it lags directions e.g. you have already made a turn before it announces that a turn is approaching. This is a frequent complaint from other users. Otherwise, Nuvi has many features (FM,photos) that others do not.

be careful not to apply pressure on touch screen if you carry the nuvi in a small case with the other items you need. You can accidentally put undue pressure on the touch screen and it will render the nuvi senseless. Take precautions not to put any tramatic pressures on the touchscreen while in your carrying cases.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and we are very pleased with it. She no longer gets lost or calls me for directions!! It is always accurate for directions. The only thing we have a problem with is that it almost always tells you to turn after you have already made the turn or are in the midst of turning. Other than that, the mount is very sturdy, the picture viewer is great and the whole unit is very easy to use. The battery is ok, but we don't notice it much since it gets plugged into the cigarette lighter. This unit is laden with features that made it a screaming deal!!!

Before I leave office, I set up multiple destinations and by a push of a button I am set up for the next trip. No more fumbling to reach the dashboard to key-in the address.
I often wonder how I managed to find destinations without my Nuvi 750.

This is the best electronic device I've bought in a long time. If you travel at all, it is a real plus making the trip much more enjoyable. I'm always looking for a coffee shop along the way and now it's a breeze. Can't recomend it too strongly. Abe's is best place to buy it.

Easy to use
Adequate warning before turns
Ability to preview turns
Battery life is not bad, but not as good as advertised at 5 hours
Route calculator does not always select the most efficient route based upon my experience and rural routes
touch screen, maps, and programming are very good
Map updating was easy and Garmin support was excellent (choose the map on disk though downloading takes forever)

I bought this product for my mother because she is horrible with directions. This unit has it all and I love the larger screen. The software is easy enough for anyone to use; however, remember that if you are expecting this thing to see construction and what not forget about it. It will, like any other unit without connection to the traffic avoidance subscription, take you into construction every time. I'm very pleased with the purchase and Abe's had a great price. [...]

-very easy to use (after initial startup problems)
-should come with AC adapter. USB charging poor and no info about if charging, when charged or how long to charge.
-can't get signal in house to do pre-planning
-even outdoors takes awhile to acquire signal
-was routing strangely until I found out that avoid u-turns was enabled (by default) plus...
-calculates u-turns wrong. a very sharp turn was wrongly considered a u-turn.
-POI's were incomplete. Could use better search mechanism.
-haven't yet fully explored all features.
-my first GPS experience so hard to compare generally, but I do have confidence knowing that I can't get lost.

It replaced a Street Pilot III and is considerably easier to use, holds all needed maps, and is much quicker in computing or recomputing routes. It also announces turns by name of street to turn on, which is a great improvement over Street Pilot III, which only announces by distance to the turn.

The unit is Simple to use. I also have a Prius with built-in GPS unit. The Prius GPS has a larger screen, and I was worried that the Nuvi screen would seem too small. But, no, the screen is fine, and the unit clips easily and strongly to the windshield. The placement on the windshield does not interfere with my view to the road (another worry that I had).
The Nuvi is probably easier to use than the Prius GPS unit. But the Prius unit seems to more accurately reflect the car's position. There seems to be a slight time lag on the Nuvi-- but this should not really be a problem, as it is only slight. The Nuvi announces actual street names, which is fantastic. (The Prius unit does not announce street names.) The Nuvi unit is a great GPS, and can be used while walking or boating. It tells you your speed (mph) and also tells you the posted speed limit of the road you are traveling on. (The Prius GPS does neither).
The various accents/ male-female voices/ languages available on the Nuvi are a fun "plus".

Took the Nuvi 750 on a recent 1000 mile round trip to Maine. The Nuvi proved right when the map we also had was mis printed. Fairly easy to set and very intuitive. Another family member bought one on my recommendation.Con- One con noticed was that certain stores (ie A[...] that have been around for quite some time don't show up in the POI database

Easy to set up and easy to use. Free update of map data within 30 days if there is a newer vers. available for unit.
Tracks and POI's/Favorites can be easily loaded from Garmin Mapsource with computer thru usb connection.
The tracks show up in Mapsource in the same manner that the Garmen handheld units load into a computer. (individual track points with speed, coordinates, & bearing along with length of legs between points.)
One can set up a route in Mapsource and load into the Nuvii.
Overall: a perfect unit.

Again this is a great product; The only problem I have is that someof local roads in my area have the wrong name. Some of the road names were changed years ago but the 750 still has them in the memory.

The best GPS I have ever owned and I have owned 3 others before this one ........This is the 4th one I have owned............. one of mine was the cheaper model Garmin 330..this one is just great and this one saves me and my wfe lots of arguments on why I missed that exit, or how much longer.... till our turn comes up...... hahaha
