The Nuvi 850 is very easy to use;all you have to do is manually put the address or intersection you want to find and you are set to go!I really like the verbal commands,this Gps even tells you which lane you should be in and it also has a voice activation feature-all you have to do is connect the remote(which comes with this Gps)and verbally tell the Gps were you want to go and it loads the map for you,how cool,you never have to touch the screen.I highly recommend this Gps system!

Overall, this is a great GPS. I'm pretty Tech, savvy, but it took little to no time to set up.

I'm a martial arts competitor and I do a lot of travel for training and competitions, and this device had definitely made my travel easier.

The only issue that I've experienced it that occasionally the voice recognition doesn't engage. All I have to do is pop out the battery and let it reboot, and the issue is fixed within the minute. I've played with the Magellan models with the voice recognition feature, and this is a superior device by far.

If you have the means, I highly recommend that you pick one up. It is so choice.

This GPS is great! It is ready to go right out of the box. It has been very accurate and easy to use. The voice commands are readily accepted by the device... no special setup required. And you can download information directly from Google Maps website! VERY convenient!
The documentation it comes with is a little weak if your into getting all the details as I am. There is some extra information on the website, but I'd still like to see more. The information it does come with is enough to get you going.
Overall, I think this is a great GPS device and I love using it!

this unit was so simple to set up. The mounting hardware is great. It is voice operated so no punching in anything at all. Just talk to it and it talks back. Your eyes are on the road at all times without having to pull to the side of the road to punch in locations or take your eyes off the road to read the screen. You can buy them cheaper but none better than this little jewel.
