Much of the time the satelite can not tell where our car is so it can not direct us anywhere. When we do get directions they can be off by a half mile. We can pass a road while it says we have 500 ft to go before turning.

My wife has always been bad about directions so I bought this for her. After the first use, she is hooked. She said that it is so easy to set up and the given directions are clear and accurate. So far it's been a jewel for her.

It's a good value for your money. The only CON I have for it is that it seems that the volume could be a little louder, and when going 55 MPH you need to be aware of when your exit is going to be because the voice directions leave you little time if you have to cross all lanes of traffic to exit. Other than that I think it's a really good value.

Easy to use right from the box. Accurate and recalculates quickly.
Battery life could be better, but that's my only concern with this unit.
MP3 player great.

This is really a wonderful product, it keeps my wife and I from fighting over all aspects of navigating. You just drive and watch and listen, it's almost never wrong and you arrive at your desired destinatin in a good mood. It allows you and your passangers to enjoy the trip without worring where you are going. I found a few areas where the roads don't do what would be logical and the unit gets confused, but it's always on small things and with a little thought you can get past the problem and on to your destination. This unit does everything we could want and more I'm not sure why you would want a more expensive unit. We are totally pleased with the unit.

I am very good with directions and maps, but this has made travel on road trips great! Easy to add stops in the middle of a trip (gas, food), and very accurate when estimating your arrival time. I have loaned this to my parents who are VERY technically-challenged and even they have found it easy to use!

I would like for it to have come with a carrying case for protection when it is not in use. I do not leave the system in the vehicle in plain sight while the vehicle is parked in a public place. It's easy to slip into my purse, but it still need a protective cover or carrying case.

Works exactly as designed. Super easy to use straight out the box. Accurate. Good value.
It's pretty simple to attach to the windshield, but do it gently. (This is true of any GPS in a car.) I accidently snapped off a piece of plastic. I was probably a bit too rough. I called Garmin and the send my a new part free of charge within a week.
It's really not flimsy, but I just want to give you a "heads-up" to not toss around any GPS.
