I was very excited to get this product as I have long been a fan of Magellans car units. I was very disappointed though. The controls are very sluggish. The map updates very slowly, especially when your under 100ft from cache. The font is impossible to read if you use any on the preloaded backgrounds, so why they have them is beyond me. This was promised to be fixed in the update, but never happened. It will occasionally lock up when it goes into hibernation. Just a poor product. Spend the extra sixty bucks for a Garmin. Magellan makes great car GPSr, but lack in the outdoor realm.
