This review is about Friedrich AC product not about seller ([...]). The pitch is that Friedrich is made in USA and it is quieter than other brands. Model CP06E10 is made in China and it sound like rattle snake. The unit is marketed that can be installed either in the wall or window. The brackets that holds unit against the window are made out of plastic which clips in and you have or two chances to set them in. If you move against them during installation than they will fall off. Older models have metal bar across but this model is just about the bottom line. I tested unit on the floor and seem to be fine, but after I put this unit in the window the rattle snake started. AC is working but when compressor kicks in strange noises starts. If I push on side of the casing in certain spots noise disappear. This is a cheep made product which will wake up in the middle of the night if you are light sleeper. Shame on Friedrich. It is the same case why people buy Japanese cars over American – POOR Design (engineering), POOR Quality and no imagination.
