This is in a medium to large size bedroom (not a master bedroom). The room for some reason tends to get very hot. This air conditioner cools it better, and is just as quiet as any air conditioner I have had in that room.
The case was a tight squeeze into the window with bars on the outside (I am in a brooklyn brownstone).
