We compared this to another air conditioner and went with this one because it is quiet, efficient, and is supposed to maintain the temperature and humidity. However, we find that the humidity in the same room as the AC remains high at 64% or greater. The temperature flucuates somewhat - about 4 to 5 degrees from the AC setting to what is measured across the room (about 16 feet). The further away from the AC, the warmer it gets, even with all the fans on. I'm definitely not happy with this AC and the price we paid for it. Our older, smaller BTU AC did a better job.

will not buy anything but freidrich again tried to save money buying a frigidaire but does not cool or last like freidrich live in 100 year old house in texas they are worh the extra $100 for same size unit
