Cool, but not so quiet

My old GE air conditioner was over 20 years old. It was still cooling, but did not drain outside. This unit replaced my old unit and slide inside the existing casing so was extremely easy to change out. With good Energy Efficiency rating, was able to apply for a $75 rebate from the electric company. Most of the noise problem was caused by the top of the existing casing vibrating and was resolved by bending the top of the case down and wedging a cassette case between the ceiling and the top of the casing. Noise much better, but could be quieter.
