Hey, folks. So far, the air conditioner has been doing fine work.But it wasn't the easiest to install. Now, I had been living in a place with central air for a while and so haven't installed a window unit in years. This installation was more complex than I've ever done. A very good unit if not an excellent unit.... It replaced an older larger unit that has the same BTU and it can do the same cooling effect at 3/4 the size. This unit have been running 24 hours day since it's installation from two and a half weeks ago and it does cool very well.

The unit can be a bit noisy from the blower fan if it is on maximum cool.

It cools a very small room. However I bought it because consumers mag said it was quiet. It is not.
24hr timer is useless. Should have time of day on, and time of day off. Not "5 hours from right now" turn off. Who is going to keep setting that control every day?
