We replaced a Jenn-Air ceramic cooktop featuring knobs that were always in the way. It eventially shorted out and caught fire when a liquid spill got into them.

The Bosch is a vastly superior product. It is elegant and practical; easy to use with a wide range of settings from the most subtle and precise simmers to high intensity heat. Its touch controls give it the maximum surface space for juggling pots and pans in a smaller kitchen setting. The independent timers for each burner are practicle and easy to use. If I had it to do over I would purchase this product again.

It is capable of pulling some serious current. Be sure you have it connected to enough breakers in your power box. A good electrician would be highly recommended.
