The first thing is how sleek the cooktop is. But the most important thing is how "smart" it is. The ability to use various sizes of cooking surfaces is wonderful. I like the digital readout for each element. "Professional" is more than just a name...it describes this cooktop perfectly.

The features included on this unit, the ability to have one long heating element instead of trying to balance between two, is wonderful.
The Digital readout is so useful, I don't have to guess which element is still hot, like with the units that only shows the surface is hot.
The flat design is so much easier to clean without a frame that can hold moisture or food particles.
