I rinse the dishes and then run a load on the regular cycle about once a day.
The glassware and dishes are very clean and spotless even though we have very hard water. Compared to our old machine our new BOSCH SHE33M05UC Evolution 300 Series Dishwasher uses less than half the soap and water, and makes less than half the noise.
The installation was more than the technician from the local appliance repair shop wanted to handle, so he recommended I get a plumber to do the job. The plumber extricated the old machine (maybe the hardest part), glued in a piece of wood under our stainless sink counter, and fed a copper tube and electrical cable under the machine. I'm glad I had him do the installation.

My old dishwasher was twice as expensive, but broke down regularly. I've only had this Bosch for about 6 mos. now but so far I'm very happy with it. Abe's got me a great price. The only drawback is the simplicity of the mode settings. I can't figure out how to disable heat drying (to conserve power). All in all, a great product.
