This is worth the money. There isn't even a spot on the drinking glasses. As the reviews say plastic doesn't dry but that's the only problem. I have never had a dirty dish come out of this machine. I left a clear glass coffee cup out side in the sun with coffee in it. I left it there for about a week. Milk, sugar, coffee, dried in the sun 90 degrees. I put it in Bosch no rinsing or any thing. It came out spot free clean.
The screen in the bottom is easy to clean and actually there isn't really anything in it. We do not rinse dishes any more. No need. just scrap the big stuff off. I am fully satisfied with this machine. I use Costco dishwasher soap. I did put in the jet dry stuff. Every thing is dry its really not a problem like some of the reviews say. Only plastic "tupperware" is wet. But big deal they are clean even spaghetti comes out clean. Spagghetti on "tupperware" that is. I would never buy any thing but Bosch now. I can't say how long it last because its only been 5 months but no problems at all. I have a Bosch washing machine for 4 years now and it works as the day I bought it.
