Replaced our 5 year old Maytag, which was cheap but it never did a great job. After reading reviews we decided on a Bosch. This unit (which I installed quite easily) is a bit smaller inside (depth) but not much, and this is due to the added sound absorbing material. Every dishwasher I have owned has said that pre-rinsing was not neccessary, but it turned out that pre-rinsing was ALWAYS needed and dishes had to be checked to make sure they were clean.
I put the Bosch to the test with cleared but not rinsed dishes, dried on and all. Clean, spotless every time. And super quiet too. We are very pleased with out Bosch, and feel it is well worth the added cost

This product was easy to install, is very quiet, and functions well as to cleaning and loading. It does have a pretty long regular cycle though,134-128 minutes, but the cleaning is wonderful.
