We replaced our 12 year old KitchenAid dishwasher as part of a kitchen upgrade. We made the fatal error of initially going with a Bosch, because it was highly rated. After 2 loads we ripped that piece of elephant dung out and sent it packing. It didn't wash or dry the dishes and there was a foul odor inside. We decided to go back to old faithful KitchenAid and are glad we did. Everything comes out clean and dry. It loads easily and has all sorts of handy little baskets and tray for odd sized items. The normal cycle is a little long, so we switched over to using the 1 hour cycle. The 1 hour cycle cleans everything perfectly, but the manual indicated we use more water and energy over the Normal cycle, so I may switch back to the Normal cycle. We have a family of 6 and often have additional friends over, so this thing gets heavy use. The bottom line - the dishwasher cleans and dries perfectly and is very quiet. You will not be disappointed.
