I did extensive shopping for a dishwasher and other reviews convinced me this was a good choice and I couldn't agree more. Biggest reason for purchasing was it actually gets dishes clean. Seems like an obvious need but so many products out there fail miserably at this task. This one is fantastic! It's quiet and looks great. Lots of room for our dishes, which some of the Bosch and other high-end models fail at. Only negative is the control panel cover is peeling off. I'm sure that a replacement will solve that. Minor flaw.

Sold my old piece of piece of sheeeeit dishwasher and bought this KitchenAid. I love it! No more food particles on your glass bottoms. Great dishwasher at a decent price. Abes of Maine was great too.

Great dishwasher! It has an adjustable top rack which allows me to fit my 13" plates. Silverware basket is nice and large. It cleans everything without leaving food particles all over my dishes like my old Whirlpool did.

The picture is deceptive, but it cleans really well and dishes dry great, even plastic stuff. Three caveats:

1) The entire top panel with the controls is NOT stainless steel or even faux stainles steel, its a GREY plastic. In the picture it looks like stainless steel, which is very deceptive. Very disappointing, as it makes an otherwise nice looking dishwasher look cheap. We would have returned it, but that was not possible.

2) There is no third-level foldable tray for lids/knives/large spoons, etc... which our old KitchenAid had. Makes the top rack less useful.

3) It's "energy efficient" which translates to much longer cycle times (up to 3 hours) than our old KitchenAid, which completed the entire cycle in just over an hour. This appears the norm for all new dishwashers though, just something to be aware of.
