Has only been in use for a couple months, so can't comment on durability yet. Loud enough that I wouldn't want it in a bedroom, but quieter than the last (very old) dehumidifier that I had in the basement. Having some trouble with the hose attachment (the hose isn't screwing on properly; very possible that the problem is with the hose), and I don't love that the hose attachment part is made of plastic, but when the hose attachment leaks, it just drains into the bucket, which is typical of the good design on this thing. Getting the bucket out to empty it is a bit fiddly, which has caused some minor slopping. Not perfect (what is?), but very, very good so far.
