I was looking for a microwave that would fit into cabinet space above the counter. I came across this and I thought it would do the trick. Not only were the measurements perfect, but this microwave looked very nice. I just could not decide if I wanted black or stainless. Chose the black when I saw another review complaining about finger marks on the stainless. Heats like a champ - much better than my 15 year old full size GE Profile and the price was right. Thanks!

Previous Spacemaker was no longer working correctly. This one is a newer model and has more features. It is easy to use and clean. Used mostly for cooking frozen dinners, fresh vegetables, and soup. Also does a good job of defrosting meat and poutry. Requires a longer cooking time for some of the frozen dinners.

This microwave is great. This was a replacement for a 15 year old similar GE model. The sensor cooking is great. The size of the oven is wonderful - it can fit oblong and rectangular dishes. With our last microwave we just used it on the counter. This one we are mounting under a cabinet over the cooktop. Don't waste money buying the install kit - if you do any home improvement work you can easily mount this with washers and screws.
