We had a GE Spacemaker and this LG fits perfectly in the spot above the stove. It sticks out a little more (further than the cabinets) but its interior dimensions are way bigger than our old microwave. We don't use it a whole bunch but for the basic heating that I have done it works fine.
No problems at all.
