Compact and effecient.I have it in my 5th wheel camper and it works great. I work construction and use it to wash muddy clothes. Takes a while to dry so allow for that. Great product. I have a three year old LG full capacity front loader at home and it has served well. That is one other reason I selected the LG.

My wife and I live in a small one-bedroom apartment. Tired of going to the laundromat, we looked for combination washer/dryer units. The off-brand Chinese units sold at other retailers frankly scared me, and I settled on this LG unit after reading several reviews.

We've had it for a few weeks and are quite happy with it.

First off, I was able to install it without tapping into the apartment's plumbing. In particular, I hooked it up to the faucet using: 1) a 15/16" faucet aerator thread to 3/4" garden hose adapter; 2) a 6' washer hose with 3/4" garden hose connectors at both ends; 3) a female-female 3/4" garden hose adapter; 4) a Y-connector with one male and two female 3/4" garden hose connectors; 5) the included hoses with the units. The additional hardware cost under $40 at the local hardware store.

As for how it works, it does take a long time: 3-4 hours is not uncommon to wash and dry a single load. However, this isn't a problem, as loads don't need to be switched between separate washer and dryer units, and because the unit is in my own apartment! No longer does my wife or I have to waste several hours sitting around reading a magazine at the laundromat. Vibration and noise are largely unobjectionable, and clothes come out clean. Sometimes they do need an additional run in the dryer, and if left in while moist they can get very wrinkled.

Overall I very much like this unit, and would make the same purchase again.

This washer/dryer combo is perfect for apartment living. It is the same size as a dishwasher so it will fit in most kitchens. Some might feel that it is a bit noisy but I think that's a matter of opinion. My only complaints are: 1. The machine is sensitive to load imbalances during the spin cycle. It slows down to rebalance the load (and will keep doing this until it is balanced) but this adds to the washing time. 2. Clothes don't feel as dry as they do when using a separate dryer. But if you give them a quick shake they feel almost dry. 3. Related to #2, clothes tend to wrinkle more than with a dedicated dryer. But a quick iron will fix that.

Nothing can compete with a separate washer and dryer but, if you just don't have the space, this is a great alternative.

So far we are very happy with this product. Our motivation for purchasing a ventless, all-in-one W/D unit was that we needed some more storage space and we needed a unit that would not have a vent because we have now where for the hot air to go! The unit is space efficient and gets the clothes clean. As other reviews say, you do need to do slightly smaller loads, but as of yet we have had no problem with the clothes drying. In fact, sometimes they are so hot when the cycle is done I can hardly fold them! Your clothes will come out wrinklier when using a unit that dries like this one does, but that is a minor inconvenience to us. We really like it! [...]
