Comments about HERCULES GSP40WB ADJUSTABLE WALL MOUNT WITH SCREWS:

I currently have 18 other Hercules wall mounts, but they are all the close wall mount version and I have NEVER had any issue with them. The extended arm version looks to be very similar to them, however, I'm always worried about the arm being a good folcrum to pull the instrument off the wall. The old mounts allowed for veritial installation into a wall stud, where as these have the upside-down triangle mount, so I have to use wall anchors with it. The only caveat I personally have it that I will not hang an electric guitar using wall anchors, so I'm hanging one of my lighter acoustics on it. So overall, I like that they have this option, as I finally ran out of room/wall studs to mount other guitars in, so this allows me to stack them a little, while still giving me good access to any of them, however, I'm still uneasy about having to use wall anchors with it, so if you CAN hit a wall stud, do, else, don't put too much weight on it, it might be disasterous.
