Its cutesy looks alone make it a winner, but thatÂ’s barely the beginning! This super-compact 2-channel, 15-Watt keyboard amp is perfect for keyboards, vocals, drum machines or wherever a small sound system is needed. Our revolutionary VTC Virtual Tube Circuitry lends the KT108 tube-like sound, and a separate headphone output is provided for those times when you need to keep it quiet. Use it as a practice amp and play with accompaniment vie the CD input or take it with you whenever small size is crucial. Its powerful 20-Watt dual-cone 8" speaker provides a wide frequency response appropriate for an amp with such a variety of possible applications. Included is a dedicated 3-band EQ for the ultimate in no-frills sound shaping. Cute is nice but capable is better. We give you both!

Comments about Behringer KT108 - 15-Watt Keyboard Amplifier with VTC-Technology:

The KT109 serves well as a general purpose amplifier for limited volume situations. I actually bought a second one which I use essentially as powered speakers for a small Behringer stereo mixer, through which I run a couple mics, electric drums, keyboard, and on occassion acoustic guitar.

For limited volume situations, the KT109s perform pretty well, and seem to produce the sonic range reasonably well. They are not very loud; by way of comparison a 6 watt Line 6 Micro Spider amp produces (a little) more volume than the KT109 running a guitar into it. As you'd expect from a small amp, they are limited in how much air they can move and can only produce so much volume of the deep bass sounds a 76 keyboard can produce without rumbling. However, for my limited volume needs (ie practicing in a townhouse where I don't want to bother the neighbors too much) they are more than up to the job, and do a good job with the drums, organ, vocals and acoustic guitar.
