NO this pedal isn't good for the money, it's plain GOOD!!! I personally play in a metal band, so I need something that can be flying fast when I need it to be, however if you are a jazz player or even lounge type of music, a huge advantage for you in this pedal is the Direct drive, it makes the pedal almost mechanically silent! This pedal is only second to the trick and axis, which retail at nearly $1000... you make the call

First of all, I just want to say that I purchased this from Abe's of Maine for much cheaper than Musician's Friend's price. The pedal came in its carrying case disassembled, but was very easy to hook together. Changing the feel of the pedal is also easy, and it looks incredibly beautiful. It's a beast of a pedal, and is totally going to take my metal playing to new heights.
