This thing is perfect. I feel like a fool for having bought an actual amp since this unit sounds just as good, it doesn't take up any space and it's a fraction of the price. I don't ever plan to perform in front of crowds, so this little device is perfect for me. It's also particularly handy for a guy like myself who works nights and doesn't want to wake up the house while I'm playing my guitar at odd hours of the night.
