I was initially skeptical that a guitar at this price would be a great product, but that all changed as soon as I unpackaged this instrument.

The guitar is very well made, and the finish is beautiful. The strings that it came set up with are D'Addarios, and felt good to play right out of the box. I had to make a minor truss rod adjustment to eliminate some buzz, but that's expected on a new instrument, plus the guitar came with the tools so even a novice could do it.

The instrument has a thin neck and excellent low action, two features I was very pleased to discover. It's just an easy instrument to play, and very comfortable even over a long session.

Crisp tones with a rich, full bodied sound would be the best way to describe the sound quality. It sounds better than guitars twice this price.

The electronics are also top-notch. The built-in tuner is quite accurate, and the pickup sounds very realistic when run through amps and PA systems, unlike some cheap acoustics that sound tinny and flat. The EQ controls allow for precision adjusting, but even in the default 12 o'clock positions the guitar sounds great.

I used it to do some recording within a day or two of purchase and was pleased with the result as well. No problems at all.

I can't say enough good things about this instrument, it's a steal. If you're looking for a new acoustic or acoustic/electric, I would give this a serious look.

I bought this recently for my son, who is a budding guitarist. We went to a lot of guitar shops and played a lot of acoustic-electric guitars and found this one to deliver a lot of bang for the buck. It has a very warm sound, and sounds great both unplugged and plugged in as well. It also has a very striking appearance - it is a beautiful looking instrument. Overall a great value.
