Haven't had a chance to try on my bike yet (snowbanks are still higher than my car!) but I installed on my helmet within minutes (literally!), paired it to my Blackberry within seconds, and made phone calls while walking around the house (3 stories) and the sound was surprisingly clear. Can't wait to test it on the open road. So far I'm very please and would highly recommend. The only down side is that it doesn't seem like I can connect an iPod or MP3 like some reviews seem to indicate?

This Scala Rider 2-way headset has made it great for both me and my wife. We are able to share more of what we see along the way with each other. For the price it is great. Ease of attaching to helmet was a snap. Conversation is comfortable and not forced at normal town and freeway speeds. Only annoyance is my unit will click, I assume due to the VOX system. Also the speakers are not good for music, as there is a scratchy sound. I have not yet used a cell phone, or GPS yet, so not sure how that will sound. All and all I would buy it again.

At high speeds and on a very loud bike, my wife and I can still talk to each other clearly. The sound is a little tinny though.

First intercom, I've owned. It meets all of my requirements and expectations. The ear pieces are a little tricky to align, as they use a hook&loop fastening system. My helmet didn't have the material in a ggod position for me to attach the ear piece. After a couple of adjustments, it works fine. The sound quality is good and the volume control helps.

The Scala-Rider Teamset allows me to communicate with my wife while riding together, which makes the entire riding experience much more enjoyable for both of us. It also links with my bluetooth phone, and I can carry on a phone conversation even while traveling at 70 mph! It even allows me to voice-answer and voice-dial with my cellphone. It appears to be very well built and durable.
