I found from the reviews of other chargers and batteries that they were often not up to expectations. This unit did charge quickly, although I have not had the batteries long enough to comment on their charge hold.
Packaging referred to a user manual, and there wasn't one, so I was a little confused by the charge lights at first. They glow solid red during charging and turn green when it is complete; different to my camera battery charger where solid red means fully charged.
