Comments about PENTAX SMCP-FA 35MM Lens:

Have developed a great appreciation for Pentax's prime lenses. As owner of the K10d and the GX20 model SLR's, I find that the FA35 fits nicely in the nitch between the DA21mm ltd and the FA50mm l.4. Neither an ultra wide nor a telephoto. It's 2.0 max aperture makes it good for low light and I have found it acceptably sharp and contrasty across its range from min to max aperture. It truly lives up to the excellent reputation for the FA seriies and I highly recommend it a a good general or portrait lense. Just know that it renders sharp photos and facial details will all show including the wrinkles!
