Comments about TAMRON AF 18-250 mm Di-II lens F3.5-6.3 (IF) MACRO ASPH FOR NIKON:

It is very convenient lens to cover from wide angle to full Zoom (18-250mm)range and saves that hassle to change the lenses during my travels and out door photography. The danger of getting dust into the sensor while changing lenses is eliminated. I love this lens and may still use my Nikon lenses as need be.

Comments about TAMRON AF 18-250 mm Di-II lens F3.5-6.3 (IF) MACRO ASPH FOR NIKON:

I guess I'm just a sort of casual user at this point - wanting to get into macro photograpgy - and I wanted an alternate to my macro lense for general use. For me the 18-250 Tamron is perfect. I'm sure a pro user can find technical issues with the results (I can't), but, for a carry-around lense to catch the moment, it is great. I seriously doubt that your friends who see your pictures will ever know the difference.

Perhaps if I had more experience with this type lense, I would have a "con", but I haven't found any real problems with it yet. In short, I'm a happy camper.
