Right out of the box it was easy to use! An impressive camera. The settings take some getting use to. We had some blurring with trying to use the larger lens for action shots and close up shots. After some tinkering we were able to figure it out. We already have a very good digital camera but my husband is interested in professional photography. After taking only a couple of shots and uploading them we could see a huge difference in image and color quality. This is a fantastic camera! We love it.

For anyone where a "point-and-shoot" is just not enough and have no interest in becoming a pro, this Nikon is an excellent option. Once you've used it, the first thoughts are why did it take so long and it's not as hard as feared. A good example is my wife now uses it exclusively and as parked her "Point-and-shoot."

Very nice camera. Easy to use and the manual is very helpful. The auto cleaning has been perfect so far. Only wish that it would work wireless for an extra remote flash. Very similar features and settings to the D300 but in a smaller package. Nice size for a woman's hand.
