I was not sure I wanted a digital slr camera, but I am so happy I waited and found this one. It produces such sharp and perfect pictures, I am just so impressed! I know I will be using this camera for a long time....

Purchased primarily to reuse lenses from 35mm Pentax SLR. Pentax adaptor works perfectly and the lenses work as they should, enhanced by the digital electronics for greater telephoto magnification. Camera is lightweight and very easy to handle. Popup flash is perfect for those fill-in shots. I would purchase this camera again in a heartbeat.

A little early yet but the K2000 sure is a fun rig. I'm no pro, but I like its versatality, performance, and that my old Pentax AF lenses and flash retro up with no problems.

I use for real estate photos and general travel and family photography. It's light, well balanced and very easy to use. The manual seems quite thorough, and is reasonably easy to read. This is a well thought out camera with a ton of neat features.
