Took my camera to Egypt to photograph the Pyramids and am thrilled with the speed and clarity. I was able to capture so many more photos than I could have with my older camera!

This camera is really something. For a first time user, this camera just brings happiness to eyes. Originally, I went out to buy a Canon rebel camera and found it too small for my hands. I then grabbed this camera and it was love at first site. I tried not to like it because I was all for either Cannon or Nikon (since that's what everyone uses). But every time I played with the 40D and the D300, I just couldn't find a comfort level. The D300 had too much going on and I am a first time user. THE BEST THING: You can find great lenses at good prices from Minolta's line and still have the image stablizer. I've already found 3 great lenses from Minolta that came out to about less than 130 bucks. GOt the classic Beercan, got another telezoom 70-210mm. A MUST Have is the Tamron 17-50mm to replace the lens kit. THe lens kit is too soft for me since I all of a sudden have become a sharpness freak. I REALLY LOVE THIS CAMERA and it's a joy to shoot with it. The LCD is fantastic and super clear. The best in my opinion. HAPPY SHOOTING!!!
