Very easy to use and simple instructions, light weight and compact unit which takes relatively no space. The only down side is that you absolutely have to install I-Tunes. iTunes itself takes up alot of processor juice. Other than its amazing; ION also has the USB Tape Deck and Turntable, but for those simply archiving this is both of those units in one.

I bought this to record all of our old LP's and 45's stacked in boxes in our basement. I already had a good turntable and a PC so this is the perfect choice to complete what I needed to make my recordings. I already had "Audacity" installed so I just plugged in the URecord and began making some CD's. I wish I had seen this URecord sooner. It's exactly what I needed.

I just put my tapes into a cassette player set to continuous play, and let U Record automatically create separate tracks for each song!

The hardware is great and easy to use. Don't like Audacity to clean up audio. Used Roxio instead and had excellent results.

It can't be any easier. Hooked up the
RCA jacks to my 30 year old NIKKO tape deck, USB to the laptop, which already had PYRO cakewalk installed from my Stanton t90, and I was transferring my 1978 ELP concert to cd. This is truly simple and sounds great!!
