I upgraded to this unit after having considerable trouble with my tascam fw-1884. This device has given me all the routability with better pre-amps and more metering for a better price and in a smaller package. I havent had any issues with setup or in use and am very happy with the MOTU family of products. Looking for simplicity and quality? This is your dream machine.
