Comments about VOX JamVOX - Jam and Practice Tool for Guitar:

The idea is awesome. Imagine jamming along to all of your favorite tunes, AS the guitarist of the band!!!
Ok, for me, the downside is... I'm a rythm guitarist & you can't easily take the rythm parts out, only the leads with the GXT (and it's not always easy to do that)
Also, this unit takes over your computer speakers, so if you have a high end speaker system for your PC, when you use this, the sound only comes from this little speaker box.
I also expected to find settings like, - Give me a Marshall JCM 900 with a Les Paul
I didn't find the amps/guitars that I was looking for & I'm not savvy enought to figure out how to get that sound I'm looking for.
Overall, even with that said, I still like the unit enough to keep it, it's fun to plug in & play along, even over the original guitar parts.
You don't have to pull out the big amp & stereo with your CD to play along...
It's definitely worth checking out.
