I am a fiddle player & lead singer in a bluegrass band in called Minnesota Blue. I have been using the bass players setup because it is the best mic we have in the band. When I saw them for sale through Abe's, at a very comparatively reasonable price, I was quick to pick up my own. The bonus is, now we have two really good mics in the group. It is great for group singing and playing, as well as solo playing. It allows me to play and sing into the same mic, deleting the need for two mics and the dance that goes with that arrangement. I will be letting the dobro player try out the instrument mic at our next gig. I are very satified with the quality and usabliity of this product.
