Long time musician and performer. Put together a pretty impressive home recording studio for around $400 (it can be done..READ READ READ...)! This mic was one of my BEST DEALS!! It's kind of heavy (weight-wise) but is really fantastic in its clarity and flat/dry response. Can't imagine trying to edit with out feeling confident I'm hearing exactly what I sounded like? One does not have to worry about that with this mic. Folk On!

No need to spend a ton a money for a home studio set up. This baby fits the bill and you will be AMAZED at the sound. Very flat and super clear. Gives you lots to work with as far as mixing ability. Make Music...NOT WAR!!!

Comments about Behringer C1 - Microphone Studio Condenser:
I use the C-1 for recording guitar and vocals in a small home studio. Has the best sound at 45 degree angle from the front to either side. Gives clear sound without adding anything. At this price, you could afford a couple or more for your studio. Reproduces the acoustic guitar sound just like it sounds. I wish it came with an isolation mic stand adapter. The included mic stand adapter is kinda flimsy. It does come with a nice carrying case. My friend has a MXL-990 (similarly priced). The C-1 performs just as well. Why pay more when you won't get more?
