I purchased this as I was told it has the same guts as the Trion 6000 which is a lot more cash. If you can believe charts the GXL3000 has a smoother response than the Trion 6000. Both of those mics are eligible for a 400 dollar mod that will make 'em knock out mics which you can put up against any $2,000.00 mic so I'm told. The reviews of mics modded by Mike Joly from [@] are outstanding. I'd buy another if I needed one.
