What a wonderful surprise! I needed a professional quality mic that wouldn't break the bank. I use it for podcasting and to create computer training DVDs. I have NO audio experience and this mic makes me sound like I know what I'm doing! Plug and play, SUPER EASY to use. Be sure to try different distances from the mic to find your optimal speaking distance--results vary from person to person. I do recommend purchasing the ringer shockmount to eliminate any vibration noises. I can't speak about how well it does for conferences or professional singers and musicians, but it is absolutely fabulous for my needs. A+!

I use it on the road, to capture ideas and get them into Logic 8.
The design is very attractive in a cool retro way, I haven't used it much yet but so far the sound quality is b/b+, and not super high quality. For the price it is a nice piece of gear.
