this is a good usb mic for the price. the sound quality is clear. the instructions is so easy (and yes it does work for mabook). all you really need is a recording application ( i use sony sound forge and sony acid 6). but yea, excellent mic for the price

this mic is awesome, whether your recording instruments, vocals, or a jam session. i would recommend purchasing a stand as well because it does not come with one
